Agnes Ethel (1853-1903)
Actress Agnes Ethel made her debut on stage in 1868 in New York, as Camille. In 1870 Daly wrote the play "Frou-Frou" for Ethel. The actress joined A. M. Palmer's company in 1872, playing the lead in Sardou's "Andrea" (which Palmer shrewdly retitled "Agnes").
