Emily Thorne Jordan (d.1907)

Emily Thorne, an American actress, daughter of actor Charles Robert Thorne, began her stage career as a child actor. Thorne married actor George Clifford Jordan and performed under his management at the Olympic Theatre. The couple moved to England in 1861 and by 1862 Mrs. Jordan had become a member of the prestigious Drury Lane Theatre company. Emily Thorne Jordan retired from the stage in 1867, in New York.
