Florence Duparc
Florence Duparc, an opera bouffe singer, came from France. She made her 1875 New York debut as Fortunato in "Cinderella" at the Lyceum, where she also sang in "Girofle-Girofla" in 1876. Duparc often played male roles, such as Pomponnet in "La Fille de Madame Argot" at the Academy of Music in 1877.
