Daniel-Francois-Esprit Auber (1782-1871)

Daniel-Francois-Esprit Auber was a French composer, tremendously famous in his day for his comic operas, so popular in nineteenth-century France. "Fra Diavolo" and "Manon Lescaut" were among his best known works.
