Soprano Annie Beaumont made her 1875 debut at the New York Academy of Music in "Il Trovatore." Later that year Beaumont performed at Booth's Theatre in "Mignon" and at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in "The Marriage of Figaro" and other operas. In 1876 Beaumont spent the season at the New York Academy of Music, singing in "Norma," "Lucrezia Borgia," "Don Giovanni," as well as "Il Trovatore" and "Faust." On this signed carte de visite, Beaumont poses with a modish hat at the Mora studio in New York.
