Maria Sophia Kemper (1738-1832)

Maria Sophia Kemper was born in Kaub, Germany, and married John Morton of New York in 1763. She died in the house of her son-in-law, John Quincy, president of Harvard University. This engraving was done in New York by Saint-Memin in 1797.
