Belle Land

Belle Land, a burlesque actress and dancer, appeared in the cast of "Streets of New York," at the New York Academy of Music in 1867. Joining Lydia Thompson in 1869, the actress performed as the Fairy Queen in the burlesque of "The Forty Thieves," also at Niblo's. Here she poses in costume for a photo on a signed carte de visite.
