Aline Le Fevre (d.1873)

Aline Le Fevre (also listed as Mlle La Fevre, Le Ferve, and La Ferve) was a popular gymnast on the New York stage in the early 1870s. Famous for her "flying rings," she appeared frequently at German venues such as the Volksgarten and the National Garten. Here she poses seductively in her gymnastic costume at the Gurney studio in New York.
