Bertha Linden

Bertha Linden was a composer and one of the first women saxophone players. Known as "the charming lady saxophonist," she played in New York in the 1880s. In 1881 Linden performed the "Carnival of Venice" with variations of her own composition at Koster and Bial's hall in New York.
