Alfred Plumpton (fl. 1875-1895)
Alfred Plumpton was an Australian composer whose works ranged from sacred masses to comic operas (such as "King Kodak," performed in 1894), and popular songs. Plumpton also directed the choir at Melbourne's St. Patrick's Cathedral in the 1880s. The composer poses at the Fradelle & Marshall studio in London, circa 1890.
