Augusta Rabineau

Augusta Rabineau was a French dancer who married a New York lawyer, Charles Goldey, and performed frequently in New York City. Rabineau poses in an unusual silk taffeta dance costume, beside a long tulle shawl, at the Black & Case studio in Boston, circa 1865.
