Marietta Zanfretta (1837?-1898)

Marietta Zanfretta, a ballerina and tightrope artist, belonged to the famous circus family. Zanfretta joined the Ravel troupe, then appeared independently, often with her sister, Rosita. In the 1860s the artist performed at such venues as Tony Pastor's Theatre and the National Circus.
