Samuel Irenaeus Prime (1812-1855)

Samuel Prime, an author and Presbyterian clergyman, was editor of the "New York Observer," a Presbyterian weekly, for thirty-four years. He was a popular preacher and lecturer, always active in religious and philanthropic organizations.
