Emma Brennan
Emma Brennan was an actress and "serio-comic" variety performer in the 1870s and 80s. Brennan also appeared in burlesques, such as "Patti Abroad" at Tony Pastor's Theatre in 1877 and "The Choctaw Tribe" at the London Theatre in 1878. The artist poses here in a typical variety show gown, thoughtfully touching her crop to her chin, at the Mora studio in New York.
