Alide Topp

Alide or Alida Topp, a German pianist, began performing at a young age and made her 1867 New York debut at Steinway Hall. Topp appeared regularly at Steinway, the New York Academy of Music, and the Philharmonic Society. The artist poses with a flower in her hair at the Gurney studio in New York.
