Helen A. Tracy (1850-1924)
Helen A. Tracy was a popular turn-of-the-century American actress whose face appeared on souvenir cards. In 1898 she performed in "Heart of Maryland" at the Adelphi Theatre in London. Between 1899 and 1921 Tracy appeared in twenty-one Broadway shows. The actress was the mother of Virginia Tracy (1874-1946), also an actress. Here she poses in costume at the Mora studio wearing a remarkably long braid.
