Joao M. Celestino

Celestino was one of the suspects in the Lincoln assassination conspiracy, later cleared. The photograph was taken on the deck of the USS Montauk, one of the ships that carried the suspects before they were jailed. He has been misidentified in the past as Thomas A. Jones.
