G. A. Gaskell (1845-1886)
George Arthur Gaskell was a famous "penman" or calligrapher, writer, professor of penmanship, and president of business colleges. He created his own style of calligraphy, skillfully marketed his flourishes in the advertising world and also wrote etiquette manuals.
