Emily Soldene (1840?-1912)
Emily Soldene was a successful English opera singer, and a theater manager. One of her many parts was as Tom Tug in "The Waterman," in 1876. Her memoirs, "My Theatrical and Musical Recollections" were published by Downey in 1897. Her sister was the actress and singer Clara Vesey. Soldene wears an elaborate hat and fur coat.
