Frank E. Aiken (1840-1910)

Frank Eugene Aiken was an actor. He was born in Boston and made his debut in Troy, New York. Aiken then played in Boston for a season, after which he performed at the Arch Theatre in Philadelphia. In 1882 he played Captain John Ingram in "The Maid of Arran," which ran in Syracuse and on Broadway and then toured the Midwest and New England. The "Boston Globe" praised his performance as York Driscoll in "Pudd'nhead Wilson" in 1897. Aiken remained active in his final years, performing in seven Broadway shows between 1901 and 1909.
