Edwin Adams (1834-1877)
Edwin Adams was a well-known actor of the nineteenth century specializing in light comedy. He was born in Medford, Massachusetts. Adams made his debut as Stephen in "The Hunchback," at the National Theatre, Boston, in 1853. His best known role was as Enoch Arden which was based on Tennyson's narrative poem.
