Louis Brandeis (1856-1941)

Louis Brandeis was the first Jew to be a justice on the U.S. Supreme Court. A successful Boston lawyer, Brandeis distinguished himself by investigating insurance practices and by establishing Massachusetts savings-bank insurance.
