Felix Regamey (1844-1907)

Felix Elie Regamey, a French painter, draughtsman, writer, and something of an ethnographer, espoused the European vogue of "Japonisme." After traveling to Japan the artist published a book, "Japan in Art and Industry," which took up the country's manners and customs.
