J. W. Lanergan (1828-1886)

James West Lanergan, actor and theater company director, founded and managed the Dramatic Lyceum Theatre Company in New Brunswick, Canada, during the 1860s, which toured internationally. Lanergan also acted in New York theaters in the 1860s. Mrs. Lanergan was an actress as well.
