Henry J. Montague (1843-1878)
British actor Henry J. Montague (Henry James Mann) made his 1863 London debut under Boucicault at Astley's Theatre. From 1874-78 Montague lived in the U.S. as the matinee idol of Wallack's Theatre in New York. He succeeded best in juvenile roles, romance, and comedy.
