William P. Kellogg (1830-1918)
William Pitt Kellogg was a U.S. senator, a U.S. representative, and the governor of Louisiana. He was elected as a Republican to the Senate (1868-72). From 1873 to 1877 he was governor of Louisiana. He was reelected to the Senate (1877-83) and then was elected to Congress (1883-85).
