Asahel Clark Kendrick (1809-1895)

Asahel Clark Kendrick was a classicist and scholar. In 1850 he was elected professor of Greek language and literature at the University of Rochester, a position he held until his death. He also taught Biblical literature at the Rochester Theological Seminary. He wrote several books on the Greek language and on New Testament exegesis.
