John H. King (1820-1888)

John Haskell King was a brevet major general in the Union Army (both in the volunteers and regulars). King was wounded at Murfreesboro while leading his regiment. He fought in the Atlanta Campaign and was brevetted brigadier general for his role at Ruff's Station. At the end of the war he was brevetted major general.
