Francis C. Bangs (1833-1908)
Actor Frank Bangs debuted in 1852, at the Old National Theatre, Washington, DC. Bangs' New York debut was at Laura Keane's Theatre in 1858. He retired from the stage in 1860 but came back onto the boards in 1865, when he played William Tell at the National Theatre in Washington. In 1869 Bangs participated in the Shakespearean revival at Booth's Theatre.
