Lincoln's Funeral in Springfield
In Oak Ridge Cemetery, participants in the procession settle themselves for the service on the hillside. A brook is in the foreground. The lower road is the one the procession took from the east entrance. The tomb's gabled stone top can be seen in the center of the crowd. The umbrellas protect against the sun.
