James Adams Cunningham

James Adams Cunningham was a Union soldier who served in the 32nd Massachusetts as 1st Lieutenant, Captain, Major, and Lieutenant Colonel. He was brevetted Brigadier General, Volunteers and has been credited with meeting Lee's first flag of truce on April 9, 1865.
