Lincoln's Deathbed

This version, published in Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, has twenty distinct persons standing by Lincoln's bed, and others crowding in through the open door. Of course, in actuality only a few were ever in the room at the same time. The scene includes Salmon P. Chase, who in fact never showed up that night.
