Railroad Time Card for Special Lincoln Train

This Wabash Railroad timetable, dated February 11, 1861, is for the special train that would begin President-elect Abraham Lincoln's inaugural journey to Washington, DC. It shows all the stops in Illinois from Springfield to the state line with arrival times. Special safety instructions to railroad and telegraph personnel are given for the protection of the President-elect and the train.
