Edward R. Murrow (1908-1965)

Edward R. Murrow was the host of the popular CBS program, "See It Now." He devoted one of his shows to an attack on Senator Joseph McCarthy showing him at his worst: berating witnesses, contradicting himself, belching, and laughing at his own crude jokes. Murrow was the first to denounce McCarthy's actions in the television media.
