This is a wall map of the United States at the start of the Civil War showing "forts held by loyal forces," and "forts, arsenals, branch mints and navy yards seized by seceding forces." It also depicts free states and territories, loyal slave states and "territories adhering to the C.S.A." It designed by Albert Bushnell Hart and drawn by R. Baxter Blair. Size: 74 x 110 cm; Scale ca. 1:4,752,000.
