Unveiling of a New Lincoln Portrait
Dorothy Meserve Kunhardt is in Statuary Hall just off the Rotunda of the United States Capitol. She is standing in front of the flag that flew over the capitol during Lincoln's funeral. The portrait was painted during Lincoln's lifetime, and based on the Brady photograph at the base of the easel.
