President Cleveland is Welcomed in St. Louis

This illustration was printed in a supplement to "Harper's Weekly," October 15, 1887. The supplement celebrated the tour that Cleveland took with his wife Frances from September 30 to October 22, 1887, and was named "The Presidential Tour." They visited Indiana, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina. The tour was taken in a special three-car train.
