The Old Stone House, Richmond, Virginia
The Old Stone House was erected in 1737 and was the first dwelling erected in the city of Richmond. It was at one time occupied by George Washington. It is located at 1914 E. Main Street and currently houses the Edgar Allen Poe Museum. This photograph was taken in the mid-19th century.
