President McKinley and Admiral Dewey Review the Troops

This stereo card published by the Keystone View Company shows President William McKinley and Admiral George Dewey reviewing the troops on October 3, 1899. The card was made on the occasion of the homecoming of Admiral Dewey from the Spanish-American War. Dewey was presented with a jeweled sword. On the back of the card are descriptions of the decorations in Washington, DC, and details of the speeches that were made.
