President Eisenhower is being photographed in 1957 with a camera once owned by the photographer Mathew Brady and used to take portraits of President Lincoln and others during the Civil War period. The camera was loaned by Frederick Hill Meserve for this portrait, published in Life Magazine on September 23, 1957.
