"The Union Forever!"
Here are three examples of Union party election tickets for the 1864 presidential campaign. On the Union ticket were Abraham Lincoln for president and Andrew Johnson for vice president. At the top of the middle ribbon is printed "Baltimore City - Second District." On the bottom half, under the flag, the following names are listed as electors: Henry H. Goldsborough, William J. Albert, William H. W. Farrow, William S. Reese, R. Stockett Mathews, Isaac Nesbitt, George W. Sands. These men are listed as running for other political positions: Thomas Swann, Christopher C. Cox, Robert J. Jump, Daniel Weisel, Alexander Randall, Charles E. Phelps, J. C. Whitney, F. T. Darling, J. M. Frazier, Joseph Harris, S. J. Soper, T. J. Tull, T. H. Mules.
