"Chicago, Alton and St. Louis Railroad Station, Springfield, Illinois, 1856"

This station is the one to which Lincoln's body was brought on May 3, 1865 when it was returned to Springfield for burial. This print was originally published in Ballou's Pictorial Drawing-Room Companion, November 15, 1856.
