Dr. Charles Augustus Leale

Leale was the first doctor to reach Abraham Lincoln after he was shot in Ford's Theater. He was one of the chief surgeons at the U.S. General Army Hospital at the time. This carte de visite has Brady & Co. stamped on the reverse.
