Location Where "Stonewall" Jackson was Shot
This is a photograph of the location site at which General Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson was shot. General "Stonewall" Jackson was riding through the dark on the south side of the Plank Road. When he reached this spot, his own men, mistaking him for an enemy in the dark, fired on him. Eight days later General "Stonewall" Jackson died.
