Brigadier General Lloyd Tilghman (1816-1863)
Tilghman attended West Point, served in the Mexican War and after that war, worked as a construction engineer for a number of railroads in the South. He entered the Civil War from Kentucky and became Brigadier General in 1861. He was killed in the Battle of Champion's Hill, in 1863.
