Alexander Hamilton Bailey (1817-1874)

Bailey was elected as a Republican to the Fortieth Congress to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Roscoe Conkling. He was reelected to the Fortieth Congress, serving New York as a representative form 1867-1871.
