David Atwood (1815-1889)

Atwood was a politician and journalist from Madison, Wisconsin. In 1870, he was elected to fill the unexpired term of Benjamin Hopkins in Congress. He also served in the Wisconsin state legislature and was mayor of Madison from 1868 to 1869.
