E. D. Davies (fl.1860s)
Irish ventriloquist E. D. Davies pioneered the use of dolls in theatrical ventriloquy. He also composed popular songs. Here Davies, known for his drooping mustache, poses with two of his dummies, seated in hand painted chairs.
