Connie Gilchrist (1865-1946)

Gilchrist began modeling for painters (Whistler, Lord Leighton) at age four. She made her acting debut at seven on Drury Lane. The British actress became a "Gaiety Girl" - elegant musical performers - and one of the most popular actresses of the 1880s. In 1892 she married the seventh Earl of Orkney.
