Dead Soldiers

These men were killed on July 2, at Gettysburg. There bodies have been dragged by Confederates to the wheatfield for burial. The Rose Woods were behind O'Sullivan's back as he took this picture. Visible in the distance is John Rose's peach orchard. The picture was taken on July 5, 1863
